Parking

There are several parking options at Trinity. We are located at 313 West Main Street in Emmitsburg.

You may park in front of the church on Main Street. While there are meters, parking is free on Sundays. You can also park behind the church on Lincoln Street, where there are several reserved places for the disabled. Free parking is also available on Lincoln just down from the church in the Community Pool parking lot.

Arriving

Services begin at 9 am each Sunday. It's a good idea to arrive about 10 minutes early. When you arrive at Trinity, you may enter through the front or back doors.

When entering through the front door, you will enter the Sanctuary through a small vestibule (hallway) and will will likely be greeted by an usher who will help you be seated.

When entering from the back door, you will walk through our Fellowship Hall and then into the Sanctuary. If you park in the back lot or the Community Pool lot and wish to enter through the front door, there is a walkway around the church that leads to the front.

Children

You will find individuals of all ages attending our services. If you have children with you, they are welcome to remain with you during the worship service or if they are very young, we offer a nursery.

Our nursery volunteers have all undergone screening and Safe Sanctuary training as required by the United Methodist Church.

Our Services

Our Sunday service begins at 9:00 am in the sanctuary. It is a traditional service that includes both traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs.

Communion is offered every other Sunday and during special services. All are welcome to take communion at Trinity.

Attire is ranges from business smart (khakis and button down) to casual (jeans and sneakers). We at Trinity are happy to have you worship with us!

Special Needs

We believe that everyone should have access to our services. So our church is fully accessible.

Physical Mobility: Our back entrance is wheelchair accessible. We also provide wheelchairs for those who need one. Our church is all one level so we are easily accessible for those with limited mobility.

Low Vision: We offer large print bibles and hymnals and have large screen displays throughout the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.

Low Hearing: Trinity has personal listening devices that connect directly into our sound system.

Emergencies: We have church members trained in first aid and CPR. We also have a defibrillator on site with trained volunteers.
