We Believe

Woman with Bible

. . . in Open Minds, Open Hearts, and Open Doors. All are Welcome at Trinity.

. . .  in the Holy Trinity, that there is one God who is infinite in power, wisdom, and goodness. God exists as a unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

. . . that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, as the Savior for our sins and that Christ died, was resurrected, and ascended into Heaven.

. . . that the Bible is the Holy Word of God. It is the rule and guide for our faith and is necessary for our salvation.

. . . that humans have free will and that we can freely choose through our Faith to accept salvation as offered by God's Grace through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.

. . . in the importance of good works and giving to those in need, which are the fruits of our faith and important as an expression of our faith. But good works alone do not provide salvation.

. . . that there are two holy sacraments, Baptism and Communion. Baptism is a profession of our faith and a sign of our new birth. The Communion table is open to all those who accept God's grace of Christ as their salvation.

. . . that God made us individually unique and culturally diverse and we therefore reject all forms of discrimination and actively embrace our differences as we remain unified in Jesus Christ and in the Word of God.

. . . that we are responsible for all of God's children, ensuring that all have adequate resources and freedoms to live meaningful lives.

. . . in our responsibility for the natural environment that God provides for us and are morally obliged to protect all of God's creation from abuse.
