About Us
Trinity United Methodist Church is grounded in the teaching of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. Our Congregation is one of the pioneering churches in the Emmitsburg , MD area. Today, we are a member of the Frederick District of the Baltimore-Washington Conference, United Methodist Church.
Leadership and Staff
PASTOR RICHARD BAKER
Pastor Baker has been at Trinity since 2018. He is dedicated to serving the congregants of Trinity and working to improve the lives of all those in the Emmitsburg and surrounding areas.
Pastor Baker is active in the Emmitsburg Council of Churches, Trinity's Community Meal program, and various other service related activities.
He also serves as Chair of the Property and Locations Committee, Frederick District of the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Pastor Baker's Sunday sermons are live streamed and recorded. All are welcome to watch these weekly messages on our website and our Facebook page. He also writes a daily inspirational column available by email.
Pastor Baker attended Wesley United Methodist Seminary and has served as pastor in seven churches during his ministerial career. He is married to Desiree Baker. They have three children and four grandchildren.
